Small kickers in the dash, buy the boxes for the kick panel area to get 6.5 in there, use the factory mounting plate in the roll bar as a template, make new one from thin wood. Mod roll bar box ( google it) install 6.5 in there. Buy Hertz audio speakers and a couple of 10’s powered subs (Rockville) and u will have a good system using the factory head unit. My Gladiator rocks pretty good with this set up.

Not knowing how loud you like playing your music, you can either change all the speakers, add external amp and a sub or like in my case, I just swapped the dash speakers for Infinity Reference and added a Bazooka 6" sub under the rear seat. Believe it or not, that easy upgrade changed the sound stage in a good way. For me there in no need to do anything else other than adding poly full into the sound bar as it can resonate sometimes. The little sub hits really hard for its size. I'm powering it with a 100w digital amp. The rest is powered by the head unit. All this coming from a guy that had a Dolby Atmos home theater powered by a flagship Marantz receiver and and additional amp, running 11 Polk RTIS speakers plus two 12" powered subs. 11.2.4 system. I think total power was almost 2000 watts going into the speakers/subs. I know loud and clear music. With that being said, I'm perfectly happy with the way my JTW sounds.

Thanks for the response. I actually went with ds18 loud soundbar and 2 8” subs in ported box ds18. Also replaced the knee speaker and the ones on top of dash. It’s super loud now.
