Yesterday I was excited about getting my wheels and tires installed by America's Tire. Unfortunately they couldn't do it. They can't get the valve stem through the little housing opening. Did I get the wrong part from Teraflex?

Called Teraflex and they were of little help. Was simply told that oem valve stem should work. I asked to send a photo so he can take a look but he was not interested.
Went to a local Jeep shop at lunch and talked to a couple of guys there. They also thought the valve stem opening on the Teraflex housing looks a little small. They sold me some valve stems that are about the same size with a little softer rubber material that might be able to pull through the housing opening.
I'm hoping someone here with some experience with this could chime in before I go see America's tire tomorrow morning.

Did you ever get it resolved? Just had a similar experience at Discount, but they figured it out.

I used Discout Tire. They removed the TPMS from factory wheels and installed in my wheels no problems.

Came back the second day and another tech had no problem installing it.
