Need your help installing Overland XD 270 awning brackets.

Hey guys at a total loss here on how to install this monster. There are no instructions and I understand since there are so many ways to install them. I have a three crossbar setup from Sherpa with the tracks in the crossbars. I am not even sure which way to mount the brackets since the instructions are so vague and do not show the brackets I have with the system. Anyone else put one of these babies on a Sherpa rack system? Trying to get it done but I am lost.

The L brackets will attach to the crossbar on the top side assuming you have one of those sherpa racks with the side walls that prevent you from attaching from the bottom. Theres no other place to put the brackets, try to distribute the weigth as best as you can. I have a front runner rack on my smart cab and had to attach my brackets from the bottom of the cross beams because the topside has a big lip so there was no good way to attach from the top on my front runne rack.

Yeah was searching around and not much on the OVS site, but Sherpa seems to have some XD brackets, just checking with them on the fit. Seemed perplexing at first but I get it, so many options, trying to figure out the most secure install is tricky.
