Hey Guys.
If you've ever bought an inexpensive be cover, you can understand the issues when it comes to connecting them to our beds.
I was having an issue getting the stock latches to work on the bed sides, especially since I have the utility kits, so I decided to put my 3D printers to work!
The plastic versions fit like a charm after about 8 Prototypes and now I'm looking to get them machined from 7075 Aluminum.
Let me know what you think. Drive Safe
.
Update:
Going to try and print some with Hi-Temp Carbon Fiber as the temps in the bed can get hot enough to melt the PLA (165 degrees can cause warping). Will also increase the strength of the design also.
