Was asking for a recommendation for a salesman at Gulfgate in Houston. Ended up calling and they set me up with Sean I think it was. Nice discounts on the gladiators until the addendum "already installed" tube doors for $2,000 and $1,300 worth of window tint, paint protection, interior protection, etc. which was also "already installed." Told him I'd take it all for the price they had listed.
That's a tough one. As a rational adult providing for a family of 4, no. Considering the auto market right now, how can I not be?So, You still in the market for a JT?

On one hand I should not be picking up a significantly increased car note and should be squirreling away as much cash as possible because we don't know what the future holds or if I'll be able to afford the note during the apocalypse.
On the other hand, I'd be in the exact same boat anyway if they had released the brake controller at any point but my note would be higher. Dealers should be very motivated to make sales on "luxury" vehicles although they don't seem quite motivated enough yet. Things are opening up and independent of what a virus does, businesses are going to operate because they need to. I'm not 100% on my job/income remaining the same but I have no choice but to be.
If it turns out to actually be the apocalypse, chances are I can just shoot the repo man and I'd rather have a Rubi than a GTI during that.
TLDR: For the right price/package I am.
(Would be much easier to just wait it out if they didn't discontinue my color)
Haha. Very similar thought process to mine. Basically for me if a screaming deal comes across my desk I will jump on it. But a Jeep purchase no matter how hard I try cannot be categorized as "essential" in the eyes of my wife...........
