I have a 2021 Gladiator, I would prefer these ones with 4 lights over the Universal ones with 3. Oracles site shows that the 2024+ model lights are compatible with my 2021 Gladiator. Is this correct? Would I be able to install these without any issue or extra modifications? Can these be "plug-n-play" connected to the AUX input?

The new kit you’re asking about only fits the updated grille style found on 2024–2026 Gladiator models. Because the mounting points and grille design changed starting in 2024, those newer 4-light kits won’t bolt up perfectly to the earlier body style.

I just installed a 6 light set on my 25 Rubicon. They snapped in place without interfering with the front trail camera. I connected mine to one of the aux switches which gives me the the choice of manually or ignition turning the lights on. I opted for the ignition choice. Very easy installl.

If you are using the aux switch it is very easy. The lights snap into place in the grill slots and route the wires to the wire bundle located in the engine compartment. Use one of the 10 amp wires and ground the black wire. You can go to your screen and set up to manually turn the lights on or have them come on with the ignition. I got them on Amazon.

In theory, the 2024+ 4-light kit could potentially be adapted to the earlier grille, but we haven’t tested or validated that fitment yet — so I wouldn’t want to promise anything there without proper development and confirmation. If someone was set on running four lights today, the only best option (outside of retrofitting the 2024+ kit) would be running multiple universal kits and spacing them accordingly.

And these can absolutely be tied into your factory AUX switches!

Yes, if you’ve swapped to the OEM 2024+ grille, these will install the same way. All current pre-orders are scheduled to ship by the end of next week. So realistically, you’re looking at about 1–2 weeks.

Forgive the dumb question, but what is the difference between the clear and tinted versions? Is it just like it sounds—that they are both amber with the clear brighter than the tinted?

Here is a super clean setup if you want bright lights when you're wheeling or give the oncoming driver a reminder their high beams are on.

The pre-runner light kit looks very cool if you want some accent color to the front. It looks pretty easy to install as well. This Lakebed kit, that uses Baja Designs S1 lights, does require the grill to be removed and cut a little. I used a pair of nice dikes and came back to clean up the cut with a razor. The horns are also moved a bit but there are studs on the bracket to make it happen.

Not a dumb question at all! Both versions light up amber when activated. The only difference is the lens color when the light is off. Output color is the same (amber) on both so it’s purely an aesthetic choice based on how you want it to look during the day.
