If you dislike FCA so much, why did you buy a Gladiator in the first place?

I bought my 2023 Jeep Gladiator for $15,000 off MSRP. I'm planning to keep it for the next 20+ years! Hyundai-Kia or GMC isn't going to impact my decision to own a vehicle that I really like and enjoy. It sounds like you two are bitter for no reason other than what you've read on the internet?
Partly out of habit; partly because I too got it for $15,000 off.

There we go. The Internet has nothing to do with it. I have owned Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep vehicles for the past 37 years. But my dealer and warranty experience started to deteriorate in the last 10 or so years, and gotten progressive worse. Now when I look at Stellantis's lineup, the prices it wants for its products, and the crummy customer service it provides, I don't see anything worth buying. At this point there is no way I am going to buy an extended warranty from them.

Don't get me wrong, I like my Gladiator. But if Jeep hadn't thrown $15,000 at me I doubt I would have bought it.

Considering that dealerships/service departments are independent from Stellantis, you can't put all the blame on Stellantis. I haven't had any issues with warranty at the dealerships I've used, but I know there are plenty of bad dealerships out there. Unfortunately, that's not unique to Ram/Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler.

Now when I look at Stellantis's product lineup, the prices it wants for them, and the crummy customer service it provides, I don't see anything worth buying.
I agree with you on this. Although, I'm really looking forward to the all-new redesigned Ram 3500 Cummins with an 8-speed auto, but I'll have to wait 5 years for that.

At this point there is no way I am going to buy an extended warranty from them.
We bought a 7 year/100,000-mile MaxCare warranty on the Gladiator, which I think is sufficient. The 5 year/1000-mile MaxCare warranty will expire next July on the 2020 Ram, but we only have 42,000 miles on the truck. I've been thinking about stretching that out to 8 years/100,000 miles, but I'm still on the fence.

Don't get me wrong, I like my Gladiator. But if Jeep hadn't thrown $15,000 at me I doubt I would have bought it.
I love the Gladiator. I've always wanted a mid-sized diesel truck, so I was ecstatic when Jeep finally put a diesel in the Gladiator. The discontinuation of the EcoDiesel pushed up the timeline to purchase a 2023 model, otherwise, we would have waited two more years before buying the Gladiator.

I love all three of our trucks (2015 Ram, 2020 Ram, and 2023 Jeep) and don't have any plans to sell/trade them. I do wish I had a better commuter vehicle than a 1/2-ton diesel truck. My wife and I carpool to work, which is nice, but we could benefit from something more suited for cold starts and short commutes.

FYI. Called Mopar Extended Care. Got bounced around to four different numbers. Finally got a quote and made the deal. Prices are comparable to those I've seen in other threads. They cover Florida and Kentucky too.

And I very much agree with the deterioration of service. I could and should start a new thread regarding my experiences in the last two months with 3 stealerships and jeep directly. I have 0- F's to give jeep right now and not that's likely to become a non zero number any time soon, if ever! After stealership 3 I just about had my druthers to do the whole discount tire ad from back in the day..

I just got two 'free' keychains from Discount Tire for buying a tire warranty for my NEW 2023 Jeep!

Where was this quoted from? I'm trying to get a quote from Granger, but they don't list Florida as an option anymore, even though my wife just bought hers 3 weeks ago from them. It's strange.
