Looks like a cool concept. Might be tricky to get off the ground and make a product that keeps water out or holds up to highway speeds. In order to make it seal they might need to figure out how to put a bolt rope in the fabric on both sides and have it cleanly furl.

Curious to see the reviews on this, but looking at the illustration, this appears to just be a step better than catching driving rain in the face (wide open doors). As you alluded to…nothing about that looks like it’s intended to completely keep the weather out.
