Finally decided to pull the trigger
I have 4x rubicon rims in the garage awaiting a new set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in 285/75r17.
I figured I’d I’m looking at 255 in E-rated I may as will look into 285 at the same. Should last me a good long time, perform well in the wet and the winter, and as a bonus I think they look good. Photos will be incoming next week once they’re on.

And they’re on

@Discount Tire did me solid by making the arrangements with my local location. All I did was drop it off, walk across the street home and head back to get it awhile later.

now to pay them off and save up for a regear lol. I did lose a bit of pep as they’re definitely heavy tires vs my old ones. Still, I enjoyed the ride so far.

before is the silver rims and after the dark ones

:like: Cool plate!
Why thank you. Figured I wanted to have some fun as this is my vehicle now until the day it bites the dust. Sadly I’m very behind in my Star Wars watching.

Looks great I’m actually contemplating getting the coopers on my stick overland wheels but In a 275/70..

anyways as far as yours you need to regear?Doesn’t seem like that much of a change to doing that, I know you went bigger than the size I just mentioned for me, but still it’s a 34.8 inch tire. Research I’ve done I’ve been told really no need to regear unless your going over 35s from a non Rubi trim

I don’t have to regear no. The 4.10 and the 8sp auto honestly do fine. I only lost 1-1.5mpg and I’m getting just over 20 still. It’s a consideration though if my driving habits change to more city driving. Unsure if work will change yet.
