Several very good options have been mentioned.

I think the main thing you have to remember is that “cheap and Jeep” do not go together. I think it is safe to say that for all eras up to and including the jl/jt.

I'm certainly not one to buy aftermarket products based on price alone, better to buy once cry once right? The only thing I probably won't by as a premium product is the winch. I'll go with something in the 5 or 600 range. Here in VT, the salt and brine used on the roads is terrible for any type of mechanical part on the front of a jeep. Doesn't matter how much you pay, corrosion will be an issue with a winch. That being said, I protect everything with woolwax.
