Hey fellas! Just got my rubicon today and I'm looking to go the 35 size but I had a few combinations in mind.. Could you please chime in and let me know what you're thoughts are on the following, what would work best if I'm looking for a nice but not too aggressive stance but still want to preserve the factory ride feel/comfort/noise...

1) Black Rhino Wheels 17x9.5 -18 offset, TIRES - BFG KO2 315/70/17
2) Black Rhino Wheels 17x9.5 -18 offset, TIRES - BFG KO2 35x12.50 17
3) Stock RUBI wheels on BFG KO2 315/70/17 or 35x11.50 17 Terra Grapplers
4) Black Rhino wheels 17x9.5 -18 offset on BFG KO2 315/70/17

Thanks!

For preserving the factory ride feel/comfort & noise I would do option #3. I am running the Bfg 315 load range c tires on Rubicon wheels & could not be happier.

That would work if you want them to stick out some.

It all depends on what look you are after.

Going to a wheel that is 17x9.5 -18 will push the front lip of the new wheel outward 88 mm which is 3.46 inches .

For not too agressive I think that -18 might be a little much. I have a max tow (so same width axles as your Rubicon) and I ordered 0 offset with 317/70r17 ko2's & felt like there was too much poke. To do over again I would have ordered wheels with a bit of positive offset.

This was with the stock fenders. The -18 your looking at is another almost 3/4" out from there.
