I went with the out of the crate Mopar lift & Mopar Fox steering stabilizer with NO additional items. Rides far better than stock & looks like it should have come this way from the factory. For your size tires Rubicon takeoff springs, shocks & a 3/4” spacer lift would look perfect & ride great.
I’m Loving my 7.3 Super duty. The engine would be PERFECT in a gladiator. Maybe Peugeot will sell the Jeep brand to Ford & we can get some good engines.
The dealer may not make a stink but if FCA reps & engineers get involved they will flag your vehicle. Return it to stock before bringing it in. Give NO ammunition to be used on you. Good luck!
I think it shifts more than my Gobi did. The lightest gator gets is about the darkest my gobi got. When I spotted my gladiator on the dealer lot I swore it was gobi when driving by. Had no clue Jeep had this color but very happy they did & shocked it’s a discontinued color.
For preserving the factory ride feel/comfort & noise I would do option #3. I am running the Bfg 315 load range c tires on Rubicon wheels & could not be happier.
Yes Gobi was a 2017 Recon color. I had one & loved the color but like my gator much better. The gobi would shift in color very close to gator in low light conditions. Direct sunlight light the gobi is very tan.
Quite a few low mileage Gladiators getting turned back in because of engine problems. Be careful. Check the issues & warranty section of this forum for some great info.
The Mopar lift will not screw up the Max tow capability of your gladiator but will change the rear spring rate. The Mopar lift springs still have a front to rear rake that levels out nice with a load. I find the ride much nicer than the stock Max tow and even stock rubicon suspension.

Pro’s. It’s a Jeep & the top comes off.
Con’s. It’s a Jeep and drives like a Jeep. They are a love it or hate it experience.
I’d recommend driving a few and try to find a dealer that has a good reputation. FCA / Jeep is horrible with customer service and you will want a decent dealer on your...
