I have Sport S Max Tow and if I were to get a Mopar 2" lift would that screw up the Max Tow portion. Seems like the Max Tow would have the better Springs.

Also are the Fox Shocks off of the Rubicon much better than the standard shocks on the sport s. I ran across a set of the Fox Shock's off of a Rubicon for $150 set of 4. They have about 100 miles on them.

Don't know the specifics on towing, but anytime you change suspension I'm pretty sure it will change towing capabilities.
As for shocks, if you lift it go with the Mopar 2". The Fox shocks on the Rubicon are different from the Fox shocks in the lift kit. The kit gives you the better shocks.

The Mopar lift will not screw up the Max tow capability of your gladiator but will change the rear spring rate. The Mopar lift springs still have a front to rear rake that levels out nice with a load. I find the ride much nicer than the stock Max tow and even stock rubicon suspension.

The Stock rubicon Fox shocks have a softer ride imo than the stock Max tow shocks. Not sure if that is better. Ride comfort is subjective. My original plans with my gladiator was to install rubicon takeoff front springs, shocks, 3/4” spring spacer kit & retaining the Max tow rear springs. Ended up doing the mopar lift but it’s overkill for my use and 35” tires. I might try Swapping to that combo as everything is sitting in the garage.

Thanks for info I may pick up the shocks since they are so cheap and just change them out. Was just curious about the lift as one of the dealerships around here was asking $2000 for the complete 2" lift kit including all installation, etc. I am only running 33"s so no plans to change tires till I wear these out. I did some more digging around and seems that the Sport S Max Tow has special springs in the back with extra coil. Think It would be better to keep those on the truck but I am no good with a wrench so that's just my thoughts (LOL).
