Factory tread being 19, you lost 4/32" in 8k miles? Seems a bit excessive. My Falken M/T01 in 255/75/17 lost 3/32" in about 12k miles.
They barely measured 18 new. I'm not saying they're amazing, but for the money and how well they do on the rocks and in the mud, getting 35k+ miles is good enough for me.

Measured 33.25" at 34 psig on the Jeep. From what I've seen the 35's measure just under 34 under load.
33.25" is nice. I thought about getting the Yoko G015 AT. Compared to the weight of that MT I'll probably just get the Kenda pizza cutter.

There are many good tire recommendations that have been posted. Which tire is right for you depends on many factors such as how and where you drive along with which performance attributes are the most important to you.

If we can be of assistance please let us know.

We appreciate all the support as well.

I suggest you look at the Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003. I personally run a 287/75-17 which is a 34x11 vs the 34.5" of a "35". 63 lbs in my size or 70 lbs for the 35x12.5. Mine were like $250 a tire from Simple Tire and after 8k miles I'm still at 15-16 32nd's
Mine in 295/70/17 were $226 at discount tire. I think these tires are a bargain.

Looks like those are a 1/2" shorter and 1/2" wider. $226 is definitely a steal!

I know this subject has been discussed a million times and I've probably ready 25 different threads, but am still stuck. I'm planning to get a Rubicon and add 35s with no lift for at least the short term (looking at Daystar 3/4 inch lift). Currently I have KO2s (275/70/17, E load) on my 4Runner and love them, but just think MTs look better on a Gladiator, so that's purely aesthetic. I've had numerous BFGs over the years and love them. I've also read that the narrower 11.5" might have a little better road manners than the 12.5" wide and the C rating wont be quite as rough on the road. I have a 1 mile commute to work, so road comfort isn't a major factor. Wife's comfy SUV is for road trips and mine is for utility and play.

Here's currently where I sit:

1. BFG KM3: 35x12.5, Load Range: E, 74.4 lbs

2. Nitto Trail Grappler: 35x11.5, Load Range: C, 72.6 lbs

3. BFG KO2: 35x12.5, Load Range E, 66.5 lbs
