NEWBIE! Sub Woofer question

Hi Everyone!! Just bough a Gladiator Sport with Max Tow! Bought it at the beginning of the year. I would like to add a Kicker HS8 Powered sub underneath the back seat. Basically sit it under the backseat in the storage compartment. I have researched the forums exhaustingly but my question is, I have the sub and amp can these work with the stock 7 inch head unit (no Alpine)? I read conflicting info. At least in my head. I see some suggest adapters that are fairly expensive and others I read seem to not mention using them at all. Thanks for your help!! Nick

If it has high level inputs simply pop the right panel by the passenger seat and use positaps to give high level input to the amplifier. Easy to do.
