Has anyone tried the Nifty City 13.6 inch tesla style screen for the Gladiator? If not what is a good upgrade from the Uconnect 8.4?

I find the 8.4 to be distracting at times when driving at night (even with the brightness dialed down). I’m sure this will be a step up in the glare department.

Will surely draw compliments while you wait for your non-dairy latte at Starbucks though.

It looks cool but I would hate going into a touchscreen menu every time I wanted to mess with my climate control settings.

Also go into it with eyes wide open, generally speaking the off brand Chinese retrofit head units tend to be flaky at best. I’ve been looking pretty hard at options to retrofit the ancient nav units in my wife’s E class and daughter’s GLK, it’s really hard to find an option with consistently good reviews.

Haven't heard of that brand yet but I don't look much into infotainment...there seems to be enough issues with keeping stock electronics working and I at least have a warranty for that.

Is it just me or does the image look like its done in cad? As in they don't even have an actual pic of the unit in a real jeep. Guinea pig for us and report back!

These are around $650 shipped from alibaba. I’ve seen a few of these. Connections need some modifications for best results.
Just be careful if you order direct … make sure you buy the android AND CarPlay supported version.
