Nissan Ad… Swords and Gladiators…

I just saw the French version of the following not-so-new Nissan ad on a Canadian station…. Is it me or it’s a bit silly using the word "gladiator" for a pickup? Seems like déjà-vu…

First time seeing the competitions ads? All the companies do stuff like this all the time…

I like the look, and I started off-roading in Nissan trucks. Nissan quality has gone way down and the Gladiator is a Jeep Wrnagler at heart. Nissan can claim anything, but the press isn't that happy with the newer Frontier and the Titan isn't in the same league as a Jeep Gladiator. But the above concept (I think) looks sharp. Sticking with my Jeeps though. Competition is great for the consumer. Nissan just isn't competitive currently.
