So i have been agonizing over wether to lift or not and what to run . I need the advice of you sage jeepers.. :jk: Here are my questions:

I found the nitto in a 37 x11.5 x 18. If i went that route , I THINK ( this i where I need help) would need new wheels with some more offsert. ( I think it would be positive ( do i have that right?)) to push the wheel out a bit more ? How much though? 18MM ???? What do you think?

or have I been sniffing exhaust fumes for too long?

What do you think of putting 18s on a rubicon? i owuld like somethat goes with the gator color may bronze or all black?

This of course means I need new wheels I need some suggestions there.
The other bigie is: how quiet are the ridge grapplers? I have heard they begin to get loud after about 10,-15k miles.

Some also say they arend't good on grave---- they chunk and others say they aren't good in snow/wet. Both of these conditions are conditions I find my self in.

This is my daily driver and my commute is from cental Ca by yosemite to san diego and back every week.
Idon't want to go down the rabbit hole of 37s new shocks, new contol arms, trac bars. etc. etc. and then re gear and get a new drive shaft . just too much $$$$

I want something quiet and pretty good.. I am also looking the toyo AT3 . I think here th ebiggest size is 35s I would probaly just use some spider tracs to push the wheels out a bit.

I am not opposed tp a small lift 2 inch max and a trac bar id needed. Bu ti just don't think Iwant to go that much farther,
I am mainly an overlander / explorer. That said I have found my self up the proverbial s---creek ( dry stream Bed read>>>> boulder bounce) and needing both lockers to exit in one piece so a certain degre of capablity is a must . Give me all your thoughst and thanks and a happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!?

You've got your offset backwards. Positive is more tucked in, negative is out beyond the fenders.

That’s what I initially thought. But then I read all these lifts that were using positive offset. And I got confused
