Yeah this sounds like something that could be fixed with aftermarket parts. Maybe post some pics of the damage? You could get cheap bumper and a takeoff suspension from another Jeep for cheap on these forums.

The insurance company won't pay for after market parts also it's only got 6484 miles on it and it will void the warrenty if they use after market parts we're sort of stuck!

Shouldn't void the warranty if the shop installs and they are jeep parts. Even if it did for warranty it would only be the warranty on the items being replaced. A voided warranty for a suspension part or bumper would not void the warranty on engine etc.
