We have a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland and my wife had an accident with it she ran in to the concrete base that holds up the light in a Walmart parking lot and damaged the drivers side front bumper and lower suspension. So I took it to a body shop to get it repaired and the problem they are having is they can't get the parts. They say all the parts are on back ordered and it will be several months before they will be back in stock. We have exhausted the rental car allowance that our insurance company has supplied for a month and a half. It is the only vehicle that we have so now we are a foot with no transportation and my wife has no way to get back and forth to work. I can't believe that Jeep keeps coming out with new vehicles when they can't even support the ones that they have already sold. If we had known the problems that we were going to have with this truck we would never have purchased it!

This has nothing to do with Jeep, and everything to do with the supply chain problems

Besides, there are so many people selling both bumpers and suspension parts and probably giving away the stock stuff for free that you can find what you need if you try harder

Or just replace the bumper and the suspension parts with aftermarket

This is a Jeep

Yeah this sounds like something that could be fixed with aftermarket parts. Maybe post some pics of the damage? You could get cheap bumper and a takeoff suspension from another Jeep for cheap on these forums.

I just pulled my stock bumper off with only 9k miles on it. If there are any parts you want from the below list let me know and I'll send them over and ideally have the body shop slip you a credit. Just cover shipping.

Top of mind would be:
- OEM LED Fog Lights
- OEM Front End Links (replaced mine w/ extended units during lift install)
- OEM Front Track Bar (replaced mine w/ adjustable)
- OEM Front Bumper metal inner skeleton

Some shops wont allow you to bring in used parts but given the circumstances, they may allow it but as @Orange01z28 mentioned, it's worth asking what the adjusted rate is on the bumper replacement and go aftermarket. Being a Jeep it is extremely modular. Unless the frame is bent, you could craigslist your way back to near new with basic hand tools and time.

A buddy has a Hyundai Santa Fe in the shop for what should have been a few days, he's going on 2 months now for the same reason. He even waived the OEM part aspect where if available, the shop has permission to source aftermarket OEM replacements and no luck.

I too have an Overland. As far as the suspension I would use this as an excuse to upgrade to Rubicon shocks and springs. I did and don't regret it. although I did it by preference not your situation So many people sell Rubicon take off suspensions it be easy to find a decent set. All suspension parts are the same except the shocks and springs between the two trims. Although I'm not sure what all is damaged from your situation. Same with bumpers etc. Most stuff can be bought aftermarket wise and if you're like me and don't like most aftermarket bumpers, keep them stock, plenty of people sell those too.

However, I have a full set of Overland shocks/springs I'd let go for a decent price (although Im sure shipping would be a pain). They came off mine at 4k miles if you absolutely wanted to keep it the same. I've also got the silver bumper trims from the front bumper and grille since I blacked mine out with replacements.

Based off what I have and what the few others before me have stated, You'd probably have nearly everything you 'd need I'd imagine.

I have an update we have exhausted our rental on our insurance so we had to rent a Jeep because we have 6 inches of snow so I also found out that we have a Jeep Wave policy that pays for the rental with no limit but the only catch is the body shop has to use new OEM Jeep parts or no pay what a deal. Can you say between a rock and hard place. :)

If you are still looking for parts let me know, I just ordered a full suspension and will eventually replace my front bumper. I live around Portland. Everything would be from my 2021 Rubicon.
