Renegade sales gains are very impressive this year! Wrangler sales starting to trail off probably because we're heading into the winter months.

More reason NOT to pay MSRP, even with a new model JL, JLU, JT.
With rare exception (Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini , McLaren, and other very exotic and high priced cars), a car manufacturer wants to sell as many units as possible, that is how they make $$.
Buying / selling cars is a business about numbers of unit sales to them, however, all to often we buyers get overly emotional about that metal, plastic, glass, and rubber. FCA / Jeep and Jeep dealerships make their $$ based on units sold and the more units they sell in a given year yields higher profit margin per unit sold for them. ** Of course the sales person makes their $ largely on how much they can sell a unit above true dealer invoice, then comes the other monthly bonus(s) for selling a certain amount of units per month, certain models of a unit, financing done at the dealership, extended warranty at time of purchase, BS dealer add on crap, etc.

So my point is Jeepers, note the total units Jeep sold in 2016 (down from previous year) and watch, 3rd quarter of 2017 sales numbers will likely be stagnant or even lower, thus FCA / Jeep will be motivated to sell, sell, sell in late 2017 into 2018.
