O2 sensor on passenger Cat.

So all you mechanic types, what could be causing this? I’ve got a definite hot oil smell by the passenger wheel well after about 30 minutes of highway driving. I look under the Jeep and see an oily substance on the passenger side cat O2 sensor with fumes coming off of it. Pic below.

Is there any sign that anything is dripping on the sensor?

If not then the residue is coming from the exhaust leaking up through the threads.

Can you put a wrench on it and make sure its snug? I'd do that.

If its loose, I'd just tighten it and forget about it. If its snug then I'd bring it up at my next dealer visit.
