I'm quite jealous of your MPG gains. I have a mostly stock Rubicon on 35s and got excited when I hit a high of 16.3 MPG on the way home!

I was surprised how well it did. I normally get 19 to 20 to work and back. Its mostly 2 lane 40mph roads. But once I get into stop & go city or hilly back roads it drops to 16. Believe it or not I picked up at least 1mpg by adding the tonneau cover.

when I swapped my stock wheels ( the ones you have) I said to myself “ I’ll just swap them back on when I do any road trips”… I have done several road trips now and never did the swap …. Maybe I still will if I go farther than 300 miles. I have also been towing a small trailer so I guess I am mentally saying I’m getting bad gas mileage anyway sooo why swap…

I'm gonna be right there with you soon. Those look much better. I'll miss the good mileage but hey that's not why we bought these. And I love that trailer!

Nice! Glad you made it in time!
I must have missed the wash station, (and could have used it bc I still have quite a bit of OC sand on my Jeep) but I did take advantage of the air station to air back up.

This weekend I pulled the trailer again, but had an ATV in the bed… 10.8 ish mpg.
Like my Dad always said, “if you want to dance, you have to pay the fiddler”

Too bad we are not going again this year, could have made the trip with you from CT. We're staying closer to home and going to the New Jersey Jeep Invasion on the beach at Wildwood July 15th.
