Anyone else going down the rabbit hole of old threads? Maybe it's just me, but I try to stick with new threads, but it seems the "new threads" list is a bunch of "old threads" for some reason. Interesting, but not really relevant.

This is how it’s supposed to work- say it’s a thread that people were having a particular problem and then the problem started resurfacing again. Say it was a thread about a particular vendor and someone wanted share the recent problems they also had?

These JTs aren’t that old… we are on the second year. 90-95% if the stuff posted is still relevant to a certain extent, with the exception of some of the conversations about things to come. But even those things are interesting to me to see a timeline of things…. Just my 2 cents.

Also, you likely misread the title of that section… it’s recent “posts” not recent “threads”. It’s new posts popping up… not new threads.

I have never understood the "thread necro" thing. To me it would make more sense to have one thread about can I fit 35's with no lift and have posts in it spanning years versus 10+ threads about the same subject.

I thought about that too but I get worried I hyjack someone’s thread. I dig through the old stuff too. There’s a lot of good info and lessons I don’t have to learn because of it.
