Yesterday was one of those days that everything I touched turned to crap. That included the left front scuff plate/wiring cover trim piece on my brand new Gladiator that broke when my size 13 boot caught it getting in. The part number is 6BM29TX7AF which is black in color and universal for Jeep Wrangler JL's and Gladiator JT's from 2019-2022. When removing the scuff cover trim piece to get the part number one of the clips broke on the wiring trough it attaches to. The wiring trough part number is 68313577AD.
All the online parts resources I've found states that the wiring trough part number is only good for 2019 and 2020 model year Gladiators. For a 22 model year it gives a different part number, but their is no diagram available to confirm and it is called a crosshatch which is incorrect. They should all attach the same way since 6BM29TX7AF is good for all Gladiator model years. Has anyone ran into this issue? Since I have the part number I believe the replacement parts should be correct, I'm just curious as to why Mopar has contradicting information our hasn't updated their parts for 2021/2022 model years?
