Ouray Day 1. Started the morning on Mineral Creek to Poughkeepsie Gulch then California Gulch on to Animas Forks and then Engineer Pass. Went back to Ouray via Animas Forks-Silverton. Earned two Badges of Honor day 1. It was about 12 hours on the trail! Yes I did do the wall... I was a bit of a challenge in that the line I took was not optimal. I saw another Gladiator do it with ease... The guy said he has been doing these trails for 10 years!
