I’ve been to many Jeep jamboree events.
around year 2000 they were really great!, and I had fun at all of them. But… they progressively lost good quality through cutback's. Sad.
if you ever want to wheel Moab, get a Charles Wells book from town there and find your own way on the trails. Do this when there is not any events going on in the area.
I led trails down there for many years and it was so much fun.
this is how I will do ouray. Come visit with another Jeep or two in a respectful way and enjoy.
I do miss the enthusiasm of first time jeepers at the JJUSA events but they won’t see me again.

Same thing in AZ! Been here all my life, 50+ years. I barely wanna go anywhere anymore cuz it’s so damn crowded, and the trails are filled with pesky sxs’s. They’re like mosquitos.

Yeah I don’t get what happened but all the Californians need to go home and finish ruining their own state. ?

Just wanted to give an update that a few days ago, I received an email from Jeep Jamboree that a spot opened up and I had 24 hours to claim it. I immediately called my dad to make sure he was still good to go for it and then booked it within an hour of receiving the email. All that's left now is to install a GMRS radio and some hardtop soundkiller and insulation for the long drive from Texas to Colorado.

We having been going to Ouray for the past 10 years. We have met up with several members on here for a day of wheeling. One of the guys we met joined our local group and now wheels with us all the time. Just make a post looking to meet up out there and meet some new friends.
