I spent weeks reading these forums to figure out exactly what options I want on my new JT and even had a dealer quote lined up. After a brief flirtation with the idea of getting a diesel (which isn’t even possible right now) I told the dealer to pull the trigger. I got an email back that the Overland package isn’t available for order right now. (High Altitude is)

The most important things I want aren’t available on the lot. I want the soft top, brown leather, and loaded up with all the on road bells and whistles. I won’t be wheeling this thing (sadly) so if I get a Rubi I’m paying for stuff I don’t need.

Any idea what’s going on? At this point should I just wait for a 24?

Appreciate any intel or insights.

No idea what is up. Probably just near the end of the 2023 production and have limited stock. At this point, I'd wait for the 2024 JTs. Just my opinion.

Any update? You might search for one with the the majority of what you want and ass what it doesn’t have like the soft top and leather.

My overland diesel has cloth seats and a soft top which were and still are hard to find. Nearly every unit comes with the hard top and leather in Overland trim.

I just ordered a Rubicon exactly the way I wanted it. Probably a little more $$ for capabilities I might not really need but that doesn't seem like the worst outcome in the world. Ordered 6/8 and I'm in D1. Hoping to get it before labor day but that might be aspirational.
