Was talking to a dealer about a potential factory order and I got told that production is not available for now on 2023s.

Is this a brief hold or are they switching over to the 2024s?

Wranglers are switching to '24 orders, and can already be ordered. At least as of a few weeks ago you could order one, but no pricing details. I don't know if pricing details are available yet, nor if it's exclusively '24 orders yet.

And from what dealers said at that time as well, Gladiators would typically be a few months behind. When I ordered a few weeks ago '24 was already getting in the way of my order, with Selec-Trac not being available on Mojaves supposedly due to the upcoming '24s. I don't exactly know what that means, but took it as a logistical thing. Tool down, cool down, switch coming soon type deal. Though at least the Rubicon was still available to order with Rock-Trac (Rubi's name for Selec-Trac).

So if you're hearing no orders available for '23, I guess I just made it. Check with another dealer for verification. I'd be curious about waiting for '24, but I didn't want to risk losing the $5k incentives I had nor seeing what the '24 price increase would be. We'll see if I regret that as I would have liked some of the changes the Wrangler is getting and it's not yet known what the Gladiator will get, or cost.

Yeah the 2023's stopped taking orders after March 13th. I submitted an order for a 2023 Wrangler 392 on March 14th lol.
This early cut off is to make the way for the 2024 changes. Definitely for the Wrangler - I'm not sure if the 2024 Gladiator will be different. It could very well lag a year behind for mid cycle refresh, though it would make sense that it cuts over at the same time given how many parts they share.

Pricing has not been released for the 2024 Wranglers, so no one can actually place an order now. When that will open up is unknown by the dealers I've talked to.

I find that weird that they stopped but the March 2023 order guide was just posted?

Yeah I see there's a 3/24 order guide reissue. No idea about that
