Can you paint the red hooks from a Rubicon bumper another color?
You definitely can. They detach from the bumper. It's a little finnicky to get them out, but it's not bad at all.

You've gotten a couple of decent replies - doing it the easy way......... I'd be sure to sand and use a good primer and if there are any bare spots, even go so far as a self-etching primer (comes in a spray can, you don't have to spend $125/quart)

I got a second rear hook for my Overland and it came in red. Ended up getting the pair at a good deal so when I get the energy to pull my rear bumper off, I'll install these.........
OK, my point, FINALLY!
They had a couple of nicks in them. one the size of a pencil eraser, the other a bit smaller. I sanded, primed those bare spots with self-etching primer and put them back to red. I even had a can that matched the color REALLY close so I didn't end up painting the whole things.

If I decide to change the color on my front ones, I'll powder coat them. Sandblast and powder coat, but that's just me.
You are too far away or I'd say "bring 'em over" as I always have my powder coating gun and rack ready to go.
