Has anyone had any experience painting powder coated steel tube doors? Hints or suggestions?

Options are Powder Coat, Bedliner or primer/rattle can paint. I'd check price to powder coat first. If you just want to put a coat over it use some fine grit sand paper, then I'd use some self-etching primer and then paint away.
