Performance Chip? Spitfire?

Has anyone tried a chip in their gladiator? I am looking at a chip by Spitifire.

The issue is can it unlock the programming of the computer. The major brands have to have your ecu sent to them to unlock via their programming. There is some piggy back systems ie pulsar that attach to the ecu directly. Some guys go to a pro that tunes their vehicle.
Back in 2015… Chrysler locked the ecu’s.
