I think that's the same problem I have.
Just recently watched a video on how to fix it. Seems simple enough. Getting tired of pulling over and restarting my truck to get it out of limp mode.

It's super simple. Get under your jeep and find the drag link adjuster. Adjust clock/counter until it is centered.

Hi all, been reading in the background, first time poster. I have a different question. I purchased the Phoenix radio installed it last week. Working through gps, wifi, and radio issues ( I'm sure it's answered in the thread somewhere). So my question is this: Is there a way to get this radio to work with my z automotive tazer? The only functions I would want are the alarm and the turn signal camera. This unit seems to override it completely.

I tried and tried to get the unit to work with my tazer and it would not. It also really confuses my 3w window switch.. only my front windows would roll down from the remote and sometimes would roll up on there own... Long story short I removed it and sent it back....

Thank you Gene26 for replying. I hate to agree, but it looks like I'm about to do the same thing. I'll email them this evening to see if they ran into this issue before. How was the return process for you?

Return process was not that hard. They kept trying to do tech support but I told them I removed the unit. So they sent me a return label. Just make sure you send every single cable etc back. They charged me for 2 cables I did not return

I was about to order one and saw your replies. I'm not sure if I understand the issues you are having. Seems like the radio is having issues with other aftermarket accessories, correct? I don't have any of those accessories. Only Jscan. Should I stay from the radio?

JScan works just fine with it. The tazer device sits and listens on canbus. That is where they are seeing problems. JScan is just a programmer

Those were my thoughts. I really hate my 7" crapconnect radio. I think the Phoenix 7862 is a good option.

I will say if you don't have a taser go for it. Other than missing taser functions I was excited. The other issues I was willing to live with.

Before I order it, can you tell me more about it. It is very glitchy? Will the hvac, and ofter functions truly available on it. Anything that does not work? Thanks.

No factory functions were missing. if you do not have a tazer or a 3w window switch it will be fine. It just takes alot of tweaking and patience to get everything set right

If you have a tazer you loose tazer functions. If you have a 3w window switch you loose function of the switch.

And whatever you do not do a factory reset without tech support telling you to. it does not put it back to the way it came... It completely screws it up.
