Hey all,

Thanks for reading. I'm planning a trip to CO and UT this Sept/Oct ad would like some thoughts. I'm using onXoffroad and other websites and mapping apps, but none of them are perfect. I'm planning a 5 day over the mountains trip from Lawson, CO to Georgetown to Breckenridge to Leadville to Aspen to Crested Butte ending in Marble. I'm looking for opinions:
1. possibility of the routes still being open. I realize anything can happen, but I'm talking averages/typically/history for the 3rd week of Sept.
2. how long this trip will take driving 8 hours or so a day.
3. I'm having troubles getting from Georgetown to Breckenridge without taking US6 for the first half of the drive. Ideas?
4. Getting from Breckenridge to Leadville is really tough without getting on highways too. Any ideas?
5. I'm trying to avoid just simple gravel roads, paved county roads, and state and US highways.

I'll go back and write the route names down and add them here so you'll have more detail. I have it mapped in onx but I can't get it to give me a list of the route names I've mapped to so I need to do it manually.
As an example: Keystone to Breckenridge!!
1. leave Keystone on Radical Hill
2. at Montezuma take Saint Johns
3. then left on North and Middle Fork Swan River
4. pick up American Gulch RD
5. then Lincoln Park RD
6. then Prospect Hill RD
7 then Extension Mill RD
8. then Gold Run Gulch RD into Breckenridge.
