I appreciate the functionality of a product like this, but to claim it looks more integrated and less like an afterthought is a bit of a stretch. In my eyes it looks no less tacked-on than a light pod.

A flush appearance to the lights would have made it look more integrated, even if that meant making the entire mirror housing larger instead of just the part where the lights are.
