I figured I would chronicle my mild build here. Post pictures as I go of the little things that I do to my Jeep Rubicon JT.
A little background, I was in the off-road industry for 12 years out of it for 12 years. I have had 4 Jeeps and loved them all. My first Jeep being a 89 YJ which I modded heavily and drove it daily it for many years. Then moved on to a 04 TJ which was a nice upgrade for comfort. Two years ago I purchased another 89 YJ Islander and drove it daily knowing I was saving up for a new Truck. It’s currently sitting now and about to be put up for sale. Which brings me here, after 3 months of waiting on my JT it finally arrived back in September. Here are the pictures after receiving it.

About a month later a went with the Mopar 2” Lift, SCS 17” wheels and 37” BFG A/T’s.
The wheels were originally bronze in color and decided to change it to a matte gold.

Just recently added the American Adventure Lab fender light brackets and did the Hi cut fender mod. Waiting on them to finish production on the rear inner fenders so I can do the set.
Also had new decals made by pixel decals in a matching color and painted sign emblem to match.

After many months of hunting and hoping for good condition take off OE steel bumper, I was able to find one locally for a steal.
Also removed the rear Jeep lettering and painted to match the other gold accents.
Probably the best addition was the JL taser mini.

yes, that's what I got mine off of, a 2018.

Huh. Well I'll be darned...I'd only seen the Mopar plastic ones before; didn't know they made a stainless steel version.

Very nice work. Really like all the subtle touches matching the gold emblems and decals with the wheels. Maybe the front tow hooks would look good in gold as well.

The plan is to get rid of all the red. I just need two solid days back to back to complete the task. Just haven’t found the time yet.

I wrapped the dash this past weekend but I think I am going to end up scrapping it and painting it instead.
