Protecting Leather Dash in Phoenix – Dashmat Pics & Advice?

Hi all,


I have a 2021 Gladiator Overland EcoDiesel with the leather interior package, and I’m based in Phoenix, AZ—so as you can imagine, the summer heat is intense. I regularly treat and condition the leather to prevent wear, but I’m looking to take additional steps to protect the dash from fading or cracking over time.


I'm specifically interested in dashmats that lay on top of the leather dash. If anyone has pics of their setup, recommendations on brands, or feedback on fit and performance (especially in extreme heat), I’d appreciate it.


Looking for something that helps with UV protection without trapping heat or interfering with sensors or vents. Bonus points for good aesthetics or customization options.

I am in FL so understand you r concern. While no dash mat, I use a well-fitting window shade. Works very well.
