My Rubicon was ordered with cloth seats - because I'm a cheap-skate and didn't want to pony up the $1,600 for leather. After I get the Gladiator, I was planning to buy a set of Wet Okole neoprene covers...but WO's for the front seats alone cost over $250...$500+ for rear seats too.

So I have a line on a set of (reasonably) priced brand new black leather Rubicon FULL OEM seat cover take-offs (front and rear seats with headrest covers too). Less than 100 miles use - but of course they are for a JL.

The front seats (leather or cloth) are exactly the same whether JL or JT. These will swap on perfectly.

But how different is the JT's rear CLOTH seat (shape, width, 60/40 split) than the JL's rear seat?

Here is a LEATHER JT rear seat (black) compared to a LEATHER JL rear seat (tan):

Same thing but in cloth...JT first...then JL:

So if I get these JL OEM leather seat covers the fronts will swap on...but the rears either won't work or will have to be very modified by an upholstery shop to fit the JT.

Am I seeing all this correct?

I can't help with your question, but thought I would offer another option.

I have had several sets of Wet Okole's and they are very nice but they don't hold up to the sun. Check out the ballistic nylon on the Bartact/Trek Armor seat covers.
