Can anyone explain to me whats the difference in Dana 44 is in 12 bolt and 10 bolt pattern?

It's the # of bolts to hold the diff cover on.

Most "traditional" Dana 44s are 10 bolts.

The Advantek D44 that is in the Gladiator has 12.

For the most part, the Advantek D44 12 bolt axle is superior to the legacy D44 10 bolt. Thicker tubes, axles, bearings with larger ring and pinion gear to name a few.

Only Achilles Heel is the front axle fad.
