Hello all. I have purchased a Warn EVO 10s winch and will be installing it this weekend on my TJM with a LOD bumper. In the reading on this site I decided I wanted to add a disconnect, so it is on order. I have the OEM aux switches so the final wiring connection will happen next weekend.
In doing some additional reading here and other places, I have seen some people relocating the control box. I understand wanting to keep it safe from water crossings, but I would have thought I was rated for that to some extent. My water crossings of that depth will only be a few times a year and I hope not to be staying in the water for long.
How many of you have relocated the control box or wish you had before it was a problem?
