For those of us who have a physical street address for FedEx and UPS ground shipments as well as a P.O. box for items sent through USPS, we need to have the ability on your website when placing an order to have both the street shipping address and the P.O. box number be on the shipping label. My shipping address is a rural address that does not get USPS mail delivery.
I placed an order from a forum sponsor that I've ordered from before and had no issues getting things shipped to my physical street address. I've been tracking the progress of the package through UPS and it got to the next major town 30 miles away last night. This morning it had been transferred to the USPS for final delivery. Since only my street address was on the label, the post office is returning the package to the sender. I don't know if you ship something by UPS you can guarantee that UPS won't transfer it to the USPS.
I've run into cases where I can enter the street address as the first line of the address, but when I try to add the P.O. box as the second line of the address the web site validation rejects it saying that they don't deliver to P.O. boxes.
The post office suggests as a workaround to the above issue to append the P.O. box number to your last name. I've run into a case where the web site would validate what was entered into the last name field and would reject any numbers being in that field so I couldn't use this suggested workaround.
I suspect that for the vast majority of people their billing, shipping and mailing addresses are all the same. For those of us where that isn't true, this issue can make it more difficult to continue to support the forum sponsors.
