They are to skinny though I would prefer the Rubi and chop job. Even though the rubi chopped aren't structural (and really, how structural are fenders mounted to sheet metal) the rubi high fender with extra width should offer about the same flex but a lot more rock and road debris protection

Have you looked at the Nemesis flares as an alternative? I believe they‘re wider (unless you go with the Crawler version). Also aluminum (like GR).
