I want to lift my Gladiator JT but I am concerned about the ride quality of the RC Lift Kits. If you have one, which one do you have and how has the ride quality been affected. Should I go 2.5" or 3.5"? Should I get one with new springs or one that uses the stock springs?

I did their 3.5 inch lift (coil springs and N3 shocks) and run 37” ProComp Mud Terrains. No complains. Maybe a little stiffer than stock but it’s still a good ride. It’s a Sport with Max Tow. Off road a lot. East coast, Pennsylvania so it’s rocky, slow crawling. I’m happy with my set up and it didn’t cost me an arm and leg. I tow a 4000 lb camper a lot and a smaller utility trailer. It still tows decent with this set up. Although a Hemi would be nice. ;)

My dad had a 2" Rough Country lift years ago around 2012 on his TJ. It was pretty stiff riding. After about 5 years the rear end looked like it was drooping. Now I'm willing to bet they have improved since then, but judging by the prices (suspiciously low cost) I would go with a different brand.

I did the 2.5" level with the front springs and shocks. No spacers.
Rides and drives good.
Was quite easy to install.
Think they make pretty good hardware for the price point.

Did you do anything to your differential when you lifted the truck? I don't know much about this topic but I was talking to my buddy who works on older ford trucks and he told me that if I lifted, I would need to re-gear my differential or something?

Running stock 3.73 gears and 35" tires. Pretty tall gear setup for that size tire.
