I’ve decided to sell my Smartcap which I bought second hand.
It wasn’t perfect when I bought it but there are no dents. I only received one key. I also only have four brackets (which has not caused a problem) that mount into the trail rails.
The previous owner had trimmed the overhang in the driver side cab cover to accommodate his 37” spare that he had mounted on top of his roll out storage (can be seen in photo) this has not caused any leaking whatsoever, even through heavy downpour and drive through washes.
I had all 3 doors professionally bed lined. I also purchased a driver side Smartbin. The bin showed up with a small dent from shipping (can be seen in photos). I mounted a Milwaukee packout mount on the rear of the Smartbin.
It came with Maximus 3 crossbars that measure 60” long. These bars do have some wear on them but are completely functional and included.
I added front runner crossbars that fit the width of the topincluded.
There are a few scuffs in the powder coat at the top driver corner facing the cab. They are barely visible when installed and not down to bare metal.
There are also a few scuffs in the powder coat between the passenger side access door and the rear of the cap. They are not bad and not into the bare metal. I decided to cover these scuffs by running my underground graphics stripe up the Smartcap.
The previous owner also drilled 2 holes in each lower side near the cab to mount his 1up bike racks. I used tread tape to cover these but I also have plastic rivets which perfectly plug these holes.
I have tried to include detailed photos of everything except the powder coat scuff under the vinyl stripe. I will keep it if it doesn’t sell and don’t want to have to replace that vinyl.
$3500 for everything. Must pickup in Jackson TN 38301 during regular Mon-Fri business hours. I have a friend that owns a truck accessory business down the street from my business that uses a forklift to lift and install truck caps. He has agreed to transfer this Smartcap from my truck to the new buyers.
If you have any questions or need more photos just ask.
