Rubicon 392 Wheels and Tires

Just in case someone may be considering purchasing these Wheels and/or Tires, here is what they look like on a Sting Grey JTR.

I tried to get a good picture to show the size difference, it seems the front view of the width shows the height the best. The tire on the Jeep are Kenda Klever 35x10.50x17. Keep in mind the Kenda's are also under load where the 392 Wheels/Tires are not.

392 Tires- BFG A/T 285-70-17, Load Range C

You can find them, take offs, around 1500 and up; with tires around 3k. Got mine, again as dealer takeoffs, luckily with new Wildpeaks (which I sold to recoup $$) for $1500 all 5!

Good thing about this 2-piece design is, if you bashed up the rings, can replace them instead of whole wheel purchase. Beadlocks conversion with optional rings possible. Rings still aren't cheap but you can find them lower than retail hopefully.

That's insane.

I just picked up a set of Xtreme Recon wheels with OEM 315/70-17 K02s and TPMS sensors for $3000.

Oh. and I got 5 of them. Not 4.

Its not cheap. But if I can get $500 for the spare tire (in teh classifieds, 0 miles) then I'm into it for $2500 which is pretty reasonable.

I also bought some XR wheels, no tires, for $1500 for 5. Couldn't find any for a while, so called a dealership. Wanted $415 for the XR wheel then $268 for the trim ring. Actual beadlock ring was even more. Even the parts guy said it was ridiculous.

I live in Connecticut and everyone selling these on facebook marketplace are asking $2500, upwards to $2700. All the listings around here are always pretty high even for regular stock wheels and tires.
