I don't mean to thread jack, but I see all the time factory wheels and tires but no sensors. The sensor is inside the rim isn't it? Do people really pay to have the tires demounted, yank the sensors, and rebalanced, just to avoid buying new sensors instead? Seems like a pain in the tush. Or is there some easy way to extract them?

Tone: Please take this as an honest question, not trying to be a d*ck.

Hey guys! So actually 90% of the customers that come in to get new wheels and tires opt to have their sensors swapped over. A set of 5 Oem sensors are about 200$ (50 each) installed. Most customers try to save money where they can.
