I met the service manager today and was pleased with how the discussion went. He has already ordered the trans skid plate which is what looks the worst, and is talking to their paint/body shop who would be the ones to devote further attention to it as far as treating the other affected places.

I have had dealings with another of their stores closer to me both buying and servicing a new Chevy a couple of years ago and had good experiences, and the owner of all the stores enjoys a good reputation. Locally owned dealership with three stores.

So far so good.

Just hit it with some 80-grit sandpaper to knock off the loose stuff, then paint over it with 12 oz. Roll Bar and Chassis Paint by Rust-Oleum.
