update:

So the second bodyshop I took it to which is JEEP MOPAR certified had identified that the frame is too damaged to fix. The first one said they could fix it, said the frame only had a dent. Looks like getting second opinions is worth it since the second shop declared it will be a write off. Anyone looking to fix their JEEP I would definitely recommend taking it to only JEEP certified !

Waiting for news from insurance now...had a feeling they didnt want to write it off since they have to payout market value. ?
I sat wondering how a frame can have a dent anyway. You'd have to slide something under the truck to simply "dent" it. The labor to straighten such a thing would be stupid crazy. Of course some shops will do a quick estimate to get business - hope they weren't that sort.
So - how do you "dent" a frame? (especially without directly contacting it)

That is exactly what I thought too, the other car was travelling way too fast to "dent" it. I was told there were special frame analysis machines, lasers etc.

Looks like I know which shops to look out for now, especially the ones with high google reviews, you can pay to remove negative reviews now hey?

Hopefully your experience will save someone else from jumping into a fire and ending up with a truck that just isn't quite right but no one knows why.......
Glad you have no lasting ill effects - and glad you caught this so your truck has no lasting ill effects.

I have to wonder if your prior comments had anything to do with things - the resale of these being so high that there's some fudging going on in some companies.
