Samson just got a new exhaust. I’ve watching too many exhaust upgrade videos. Finally pulled the trigger and bought the AWE Trail Edition. Can’t be happier with the exhaust! Not sure if I’ll listen to the radio again… just drive around with the windows down and top back taking in the exhaust sound.

This is my first AWE exhaust. Impressed with the quality of the product, the packaging and the sound.

Here are some pics of the install and initial sound. The video where I start up Samson is the very first start with the new exhaust. Tried to hang my iPhone out the window and accelerate to give you how it sounds. Again, this is the sound I wanted. Great Job AWE! @Sara/AWE

Full Disclosure: I dropped the JT off at another forum members garage yesterday so that we could change a cold exhaust out this AM. That form member works a different shift than I do. When I showed up with Bagels and Coffee this AM to start the work, he already had it done... We have great forum members. Thanks to the Shade Tree Mechanic!

I sent him a video that I found on removing it. Those dudes had a lift and still took two guys to remove, yet he did it himself. He said no need to cut the OEM exhaust or remove the track bar. Instead, drop the spare and remove the heat shield. This is much easier when leaving the JT on the ground and just jacking up the rear end. Another note, did not have to remove any of my @ASFIR 4x4 skid plates to remove or install the exhaust.

Parked Samson in the garage Friday and Saturday (waiting on Rain Gear gets their cover back in stock). Moved the Mrs. BMW outside... I had to take off the hitch to get the garage door to close and still only had about 2-inches clearance. Bumped the gas a bit hard and now have a small dry wall fix thanks to the Factor55 Ultra Hook Rope Guard.

Very Nice... Had a similar idea in mind. Cheers!
