Screen off button

Is there any way to make the screen off button actually turn the backlight off to the main screen instead of blanking the screen? The slightly glowing black screen is distracting enough to me to make the feature not worth using.

Nope… you need to complain to the engineers… so far they have not been listening for over 7 years of makes and models of jeeps, Chrysler’s and dodges.

the only way to get it to turn off completely is to turn it completely off… or go buy an aftermarket unit.
